Too Many Ideas Keeping You Awake at Night? Build an Idearium
Miller, self-described as a Polymetis "Gray of many methods," argues that being good at generating ideas isn't the same as being good at telling the good ones from the bad — and that unsorted ideas keep us awake at night and produce regret. His fix is an "idearium": a deliberate external place (notebook, file, board) where each new idea can live safely until you're ready to evaluate it, so your mind can let go of it tonight.
